When you arrive in the village of Epesses, just before you reach the ancient fountain, take the small road leading south towards the lake. In the village square, surrounded by plane trees, turn right in a westerly direction and continue west between the walls on the Creyvavers path. Each step brings you closer to the history of the Duboux family of winemakers, a tale of 500 years in the Lavaux. Take a few more steps towards the lake and you reach his front door. Here, Blaise Duboux perpetuates the culture of the seventeen generations who preceded him – he shapes the landscape, cultivates the grapevines, and enriches the soil. His wines, capricious children, are born here, ever faithful to the earth and sky of Lavaux.
